The conference has brought together representatives of governments, institutions, students, employers, recognition authorities, and other European and international quality assurance agencies. They discussed the benefits of mutual recognition of accreditation and quality assurance decisions in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The possibilities to apply mutual recognition of accreditation decisions to other quality assurance decisions, other European countries and other continents was also discussed.
