The venues are organized in two locations.

The venue of the ECA workshop on December 6 and 8 is the TOTAL company offices and its Education and Training Center in Paris La Défense – (see map and www.total.com and also www.careers.total.com) CTI and ECA benefit of the invitation of the Total Prof Association, an Association of experts mostly from Total who provide their knowledge and competences around the world on a voluntary basis (www.totalprof.fr) . The venue has the advantage of having a number of amphis, meeting rooms and facilities.
The Total Prof Associés Association mission is to facilitate a meeting of the petroleum sector and institutions of higher learning and universities, a meeting between those who know how to and those who teach how to, between professors and students.
Reception is at Hôtel de Ville at 18H45 – Métro line 1 – station Hôtel de Ville – is located Salon JP Laurens. The informal dinner is at the Restaurant Atelier Berger (http://www.restaurant-atelierberger.com/), a typical little Parisian restaurant – 49, rue Berger – a few minutes walk from the Hôtel de Ville and close to the Forum des Halles.
7 December 2006 – Maison des Polytechniciens – 12, rue de Poitiers, 75007 Paris The venue of the ECA workshop on December 7 is the Maison des Polytechniciens (www.maisondespolytechniciens.abcsalles.com ) dedicated to the organization of meetings. It is a subsidiary of the Association of Alumni of the prestigeous Ecole Polytechnique (www.polytechniciens.com ).
Its location (Métro line 12 - Solférino - see map) is in the center of the historical area of Paris, close to the Orsay Museum www.musee.orsay.fr (across the street) .
After the Museum visit, one can reach the Boat Compagnie des Bateaux Mouches – boarding and landing Pont de l’Alma, Seine right bank) by taking the RER train -station Musée d’Orsay- and leaving at station Pont de l’Alma – 2nd stop (see map).
The way back to the hotels is by the Métro , line 9 leave at station Franklin Roosevelt, then line 1 – direction La Défense – leave at station Esplanade). |
