To achieve objective 1: The Information Tool
- Survey on the use of databases and available information regarding qualifications
- Input & feedback by stakeholders: ESIB, EUA, EURASHE, UNICE and ENIC-NARICs.
- Implementation of the database driven website, with a possibility to provide national portals
- Integration of the Accreditation Supplement in digital form
- Implementation of new databases (in case there are no existing databases) for organisations that provide data
- Implementation of communication systems with the database of organisations that provide data
- Testing of the Information Tool

To achieve objective 2: The Accreditation Supplement
- Publication of reports regarding accreditation frameworks and the different formats and methods of the publications of accreditation results
- A co-operation project of five accreditation organisations (with different scopes of responsibilities and accreditation procedures) to explore standards, procedures, publication policies and the frameworks on which publications are based
- The proposal of accreditation supplements
- The proposal for implementation of accreditation supplement(s) in accreditation procedures, taking into account responsibilities of higher education institutions and accreditation organisations
- Integration of the Accreditation Supplement in the Information Tool
To achieve objective 3: information dissemination regarding the mutual recognition of accreditation decisions
- A short study containing an analysis of the relationship between accreditation and recognition of qualifications; a catalogue of achievements with regard to mutual recognition agreements; and an exploration of the involvement of governments (legal issues) and stakeholders (respect for institutional autonomy) needed to achieve mutual recognition of accreditation decisions.
- A conference of two days, including plenary sessions and workshops, to be held in the autumn of 2007. The conference will bring together representatives of governments, stakeholders, recognition authorities and other European quality assurance agencies to discuss the topics of the study with a view to reaching mutual recognition of accreditation and quality assurance decisions in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
